ResponsibilitiesIn collaboration with the Vice President of Medical Groups, the Regional VP of Medical Group Operations provides financial and operational oversight to employed physician practices across assigned market.
This role assumes day to day accountability for all facets of practice operations, with a strong emphasis on managing patient access and throughput, provider productivity, clinic staffing, and medical group support services. Ideal candidate will have experience with managing the revenue as well as expense side of a multi-specialty clinic, with a proven track record. Experience with value-based payment models such as Chronic care, Transitional care and Remote Patient Monitoring is highly desirable. Facilitates an atmosphere of collaboration with local Medical Group administrators, hospital leadership, and corporate leadership. Will be visible, accessible and committed to communicating effectively with providers, hospital leadership, and staff. Financial responsibilities include ownership and management of Medical Groups/practices P&L with an emphasis on reducing operating losses, and revenue cycle for practices.
