Job Description

We are looking for a well-spoken and multitasking person to join our call center team. This dedicated person will play a key role by handling all incoming patient’s clinical requests.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Handle patients incoming requests for medication assistance.
  • Handle all incoming patients’ questions for the doctors.
  • Process prior authorization requests for patients.
  • Redirect concerns to the appropriate department when necessary.
  • Assist call center with clinical questions.
  • Help oversee call center staff and make sure they stay focused and motivated.
  • Complete daily reports for communication as needed.
  • Manage the notifications screen on MDI daily.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Associate degree with 1 year of experience.
  • Previous experience in medical call centers or healthcare administration is preferred.
  • Proficiency in call center software and electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus!
