Do you remember learning five “W’s” in school as kids? We at Penick Village do! Who, what, when, where, and why as we recall. As you use our website to learn about our five “W’s” we want to focus on that last “W” first. We believe the “why” of what we do is essential. Our “why” is simple – to honor and value people. Specifically, we are here to honor & value two groups of people: society’s elders and those who care and serve them. They (and those who love them) deserve opportunities for support, care, services, choice, fun, friendship, laughter, understanding, security, and more.

(And we’ll be honest – we’re biased, we love this town and being part of it!) Southern Pines has a unique small-town charm while still offering big city amenities. Plus, because we are situated on 38 beautiful wooded acres and have historic Weymouth Woods as our neighbor, you get the best of many worlds. Everything you need is within reach and if you have the desire for an out of town adventure – access to US-1 and the local train station are just a few blocks away, and there are 3 international airports within 2.5 hours.
