Located in beautiful Bedford, VA, the Bedford County Nursing Home is nestled in a quiet rural setting with views of the stunning Peaks of Otter. We are a 90 bed non-profit, intermediate care, nursing facility whose mission is to offer high quality, caring, home-like care services to its residents. Standing alone as a department within the Bedford County Government, the facility is licensed as a Nursing Home by the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Health. The Bedford County Nursing Home offers a variety of living accommodations with both private and shared rooms. Our team works with the resident and his / her family to set goals and develop an action plan to assist each resident in reaching his/her desired outcome. Our teams include: Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Nursing, Activities, Food Services, Maintenance / Housekeeping, and Administration.
